2 of the 3 songs from the Dick Cavett show have been released officially on the 2007 reissue of "Young Americans" in the DVD of the CD/DVD edition, with the exception of "Footstompin'" which is supposedly lost. I'll dig into the collection & see what I can find.

Maybe the masters are lost, but as long as there are copies of that track it is not truly lost (see Watch That Man Vol.4 or Youtube)

Yes, but I am pretty certain the OP was talking about the video footage, or did I misrew3ad something that was not intended?
The version on RarestOneBowie may or may not have been taken from the MainMan archives - it's a bootleg, so I tend to take the claims with a pinch of salt....often they cannot even get the track names right, and this disc definitely includes bootleg sources (I Feel Free, possibly My Death) and claims to be from Trident Music, not MainMan.....but I may be wrong of course.

The RarestOne cd is an officially released cd. It was released by Manmain, but without David Bowie's approval.
