Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and have been a Bowie fan for many years.
There has been many covers of his songs, my favourite cover is Duran Duran's Fame, they have actually done a few Bowie covers and mention his name a lot.
Is there any bands or solo artists that anyone thinks did a great cover.

Then again Chris Hadfield's Space Oddity cover blows everything out of the water, a lot of course due to the mindblowing video, might even be my favorite cover of all time due to the powerful message and awe-inspiring visuals. The slight lyrical change is genius, daring and works well too.

Any how Bowie is quoted as saying the character John Blaylock was his least favourite role, the ageing sequence is 'cruel'.
"Bowie was excited to work on the film but was concerned about the final product. He said "I must say, there's nothing that looks like it on the market. But I'm a bit worried that it's just perversely bloody at some points".

So if you see/meet a nymphomaniac, sunglass wearing, post-punk gothic rock, trendy looking, blood sucking vampire at your local disco, give them a wide berth.    :-@
