Just heard a trail on BBC Radio 2 for Monday nights (27/3/17) Jools Holland show.

Jools Holland

Jools is joined by legendary record producer Tony Visconti, who picks some of his favourite records and plays a Bowie classic live with original Spider From Mars Woody Woodmansey and Heaven 17 vocalist Glenn Gregory.

Tony Visconti is one of the greatest rock record producers of all time. His most famous work is with T. Rex and David Bowie - with whom he worked right up until the artist's death last year - but his extensive catalogue also includes work with Mary Hopkin, The Move, Morrissey and many, many more.

Tony, Glen and Woody are currently touring the UK as Holy Holy, playing a selection of Bowie songs, including the whole "Ziggy Stardust" album.

Going to see Holy Holy on Saturday in Hull - very excited!

Woot.
Saw Holy Holy on their "MWSTW" tour at Shepherds Bush Empire and they were superb.
Enjoy the evening

Thanks all.

I had high expectations for Holy Holy and they exceeded them by lightyears.

It was stunning...

Fist night of the tour and, I assume, the first time the entire Ziggy album has been performed live by one of the original band since 1973.

Woody's drumming is spot on and he and Visconti have put together a great band.  Singing along to Width of a Circle, Black Country Rock and The Supermen is something I'll never forget.

Visconti is right - Holy Holy isn't a tribute band, they're the real deal.

If you can catch them - then do...
