Hi guys, just after these shows I bought copies of these at what was then known as the Cardiff Rcord Fair in the long gone Central Hotel.
The quality of these shows were absolutely superb,as good  as the recording from the 3rd night as the bootleg No Religeon. Does anyone have copies in this same quality. On the first night there is a drop in quality from Cat People to White light. perhaps dirty tape heads. The Second night slightly high on the recoding level and running fast.
Just a pointer I have received recording from Edinburgh 83 and the first 5 track are deff MK 1 .CAn anyone help.

I have uploaded the one for the 1st I believe you are looking for.

For the second I have 4 different sources:

Source 1:

Have this as both 3 big flacs and also as an MP3 set.
I have tracked this version and will upload it later tonight.

Source 2: (steve23yh)
From The Hinterland

Source 3:
Live From The Bowl 83 (3. gen chrisnathou)
(This is already uploaded)

Source 4:
An incomplete version that runs way too fast, many cuts between songs and incomplete:

Quote:

Notes: This is a very good audience recording in stereo. It has been recorded up close to the stage
and has a very direct sound, although the crowd noise is not as en masse as some would prefer. There is
a break of a couple of seconds during the applause in between 'Breaking Glass' and 'Life On Mars'. This
is where the cassette has been turned over. But it has been joined so there is no silent gap.
I have not tweeked the overall sound in any way, other than to reduce the original cassette tape hiss a little.

Info: I believe this concert is available eleswhere on CD in a more complete form, but the recording listed
here is not from that CD. It is from a cassette which I have had in my possession since I first bought it
at a Record Fair in Scotland back in June 1985. The unfortunate thing is that I only managed to get this
first half of the show on tape!

I guess it is the last one that you really want.

Jan Erik
Is this the upload by Ronson [aka Ziggyson] ??
With the drop in signal during Sorrow & Cat people ??

I am working on matrix which will do away the drop in signal with a similar sound quality.

From the 1st (which I uploaded) it is the an upload from Ronson from Dime in 2011.
For the 2nd, the "source 4" is from davidcantello at MWP in 2008.

Ripping "No Religion" from silvers to upload later tonight.

Toying with putting "From The Hinterland" into one of the new volumes of HG Tapes - should be sorted quite soon.

Don't blame me, I didn't do it!

ok so the 1st July is deff the same looking for ,the drop must be on all tapes from the record fair guy, great shame as its a brilliant recording. Going back to the Edinburgh tape the first 4/5 tracks deff MK1 same recording brilliant sound, somewhere someone must have all the MK show in this quality.
So for the 2nd night no deff not the same recording, the levels are a bit high and the whole show runs slighty fast.
THanks to all who helped.
ziggy
