Yes, I'm UK. It's a mystery, but I'm glad I washed it cos it's fixed several annoying pops & crackles which have been present since 1st spin  :)

My son's 2nd pressing arrived the other day, and since I've been obsessing over this beautiful & heartbreaking artefact, it was obviously ESSENTIAL to compare the two for differences! The matrix numbers appear to be the same, except the 1st press has something extra etched. Other things I spotted were in the text at the bottom of the back of the cover, which now starts with 2016/2015/2016, with a consequent shunting of some of the 2nd line text onto the 3rd line. Also, the sticker on the shrink-wrap now has underlined text.

In other news...I've been wondering whether our man made a mistake in the lyrics to Girl Loves Me. One of the words is 'garbles'. Since it's full of Nadsat, I wondered whether he actually meant to say 'yarbles', which means 'bollocks' - either the actual things, or as an exclamation. Or maybe 'garbles' has some significance in Polari? I guess we'll never know...
