That's what I've been hearing too. There are five tracks that were recorded for a follow up to Blackstar which will probably be released on a Blackstar "Deluxe" version, at least three full (finished) albums we've never heard, and tons of singles/unreleased songs.

My source used the words "at least five years of new music."

...and then my mind split open.

OMG...  some papers should learn to check the facts:

Quote:

The death of Bowie came days after his 69th birthday and a week after the release of his latest album Blackstar which included the lyrics: “Look up here, I’m in heaven”.

8o

British weeks are only two days now.

But they also need a grammar lesson. These are posthumous releases of music, not releases of posthumous music, that is, unless Bowie figured out how to record after death.

PD, you do crack me up with your sardonic sense of humour, love it!!  :-)  :-)  :-)

Mind you, he may have figured a way to record after death as, after all, he is/was a trend setter. Him and Lou perhaps, now that would be the séance to go and attend...! ;)

Ditto! I was thinking the same :)

And maybe Under Pressure vol.2? Freddie's been there for a while, he might have written something too  :D

Maybe in 6 months we will have Blackstar Extra (like TND Extra) with the 5 tracks and maybe the 2 vids.
The box Five Years was the one of a serie so we can expect another one from 74 to 79.
Maybe TOY will be officially released.

There's so much to be officially released... (Cracked actor on Blu-ray, lots of unreleased songs, some live shows, some remixes...)

When all this speculation as to "new stuff" coming in the future started I stated that there will be little that we get - over 50 years let alone 5. I stand by that.

"Look up here, I’m in heaven
I’ve got scars that can’t be seen"

I agree. When the previous policy of releasing new stuff will be continued we will only get 2 or 3 new songs with each newly released "box set" which will cost a big amount of money.

There are certainly some live shows in good quality still in the vaults but maybe Bowie didn't want to release them because he was not happy with some aspects about them.
