In the last weeks we have had 3 instances of spammers joining the site only to spam PMs to a lot of members. The last one was earlier today.

All the 3 spammers have had their accounts deleted, all PMs deleted and their IP-ranges have been blocked.

Each time they have been caught fast thanks to members reporting the spammers.

To avoid more of this, we have implemented a restriction for new members:

New members are now limited to post only 3 PMs within 24 hours the first week they are members.
After that the limitation will be lifted.

Let's hope that today's incident was the last one :)
