Mick Rock will be signing copies of his book THE RISE OF DAVID BOWIE 1972-1973 at the TASCHEN bookstore in London on 9 September between 6.30 - 8.30 pm. The store is at 12 Duke of York Square SW3.

Earlier in the day I'm going to the BFI's 4K screening of THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH at 2.30pm so plenty of time left after the film ends to sit by the river enjoying a glass or two of something cold before ambling up to the King's Road.

I wish I could make it. I'd make the trip just for this. Seeing as I missed a Mick Rock exhibition at a gallery in my town! Sadly, I just don't have the money.

A small question: what sort of pen writes on holographic plastic? :P

Your pen would be a waterproof one, and for a signature you would one one that is lightfast too.
Steadtler permanet is a cheap one that does it, there are a lot of different ones out there.
You could choose an acrylic one like Posca, will look great, takes a min longer to dry.
Go to an art supply store they will have what you need, here in Denmark the postoffice used to have the Steadtler, before they closed all the post offices, they are now in supermarkets :(
Since the surface of holographic plastic is hard, pretty much anything can be scratched off, so if you end up with a holographic treasure make sure it as has kind soft surroundings  :D
