Hello all, in case anybody isn't aware of it or is unsure about buying a copy of the above, I just wanted to post a rave review for the recently published English translation of the above book.

It hasn't had a lot of publicity in the music press. Perhaps that is because English/American journalists are a bit snobby about what a French man might know about Bowie?

Anyway, if you want to read about the albums Bowie made from 1967-1980 with a load of interesting commentary from people who were in the studio with Bowie at the time, you should really check it out.

I've read loads of Bowie books but there was a lot of info that was new to me in this.

The section on Low, The Idiot and through to Heroes etc is particularly great.

Also, if you buy a copy it will help to ensure that I get to read a translation of Volume 2 too!

How is it that eBay flog it for £23, yet actual booksellers are £30-£34?
I cannot begin to stress how much I loathe eBay & the absolute domination of it by PayPal, and by default Vanguard & Blackrock - the DEI machine of Wokery, men having babies & chestfeeding.
Fuck that for a game of soldiers.
Okay I have an issue with PayPal because they turned what used to be my account & blocked it because of allegedly 'suspicious' activity when all I had been doing was buying boots & tape reels, yet they refused to tell me what was suspicious & why or unblock my account unless I - and you will not believe this but I swear it is the absolute truth - emailed them my fucking passport scans along with utility bills!!!!!
I even telephoned them to report this behavious as a probable scam, but they assured me it wasn't and the reasons they had were 'serious concerns'. I told them to go play in traffic.
