I found this list I made a few years back of the studio stuff we're still missing. Including the source, if I could find one. A lot of the stuff recorded around blackstar is probably non existing, as song titles and lyrics changed for the songs being released. Although the existing of blaze is pretty well documented.
Is the liste more or less complete, or is there more stuff (based on credible sources)?

"Good question."
Was Gail's reply when asked, 'Is there a studio version of O Superman ?'
There's another 'better' version of God Only Knows said Jeff Rougvie.
I have the magazine [somewhere] where he talks about finding 'stuff' recorded with Lulu including Can You Hear Me.
Is 'Take Me To The Disco King' the disco version he talked about ?

Interesting that "Lucy Can't Dance" is a demo from 1988.  I actually like it better then anything on BTWN.  Would really love to hear an official release of the Contamination/Outside sessions which are superb.  I believe there may be another studio recording of "I Can't Read" during the Earthing sessions?  It would be interesting to hear the different iterations of BMTDK.  Would also love to hear more Blackstar stuff if there is anything truly in finished form.  Either we will get it in a future anniversary edition, or it simply isn't finished or good enough for release.

There was a studio session in Prague on 26th June 1997 where the Earthling band recorded a studio verison of O Superman and re-recorded Outside with Gail's vocals - Gail shared some home video clips from the session a few years ago on the condition that they weren't shared more widely (and I think she's taken them down now).
So O Superman was definitely recorded (with lots of Bowie sax tracks if memory serves me), but what happened to it after that is anyone's guess...

I've got a vinyl rip that claims to be '2.Contamination' but I have no idea if it is genuine or not.
It came as a 2LP set with a 5th side called 'Bonus Disc' but there is absolutely nothing at all as far as any documentation goes, so it could easily be a fake. I don't even remember where I got it from.
I think I will dig it out & try to get my head around what it is.

These last 3 years have been very beneficial for us to hear new things.
officially and unofficially
sigma reel, outtakes from the 60s and early 70s.
Even so, many things were left behind and perhaps remain in the vaults.
The epidemic delayed many releases and there are things with collectors that will remain between them.
I know some

the last one in the 'collection' is the expanded one with 35 tracks
which
could be the first three

My local record shop , and vintage collector, told me last week how he sold to the Bowie estate, some 18 months ago, a white label  demo of Under Pressure.Discovered in  box of various artists sold to him by an EMI employee.  A version the estate did not have or had heard of. It was not the People on Streets version we are aware of! Will we ever hear it , who knows .

There's many Under Pressure versions on youtube, slightly different lyrics and very different ones.
Since Sigma Reel Bootleg in 2022, I can't remember any other leak

1968 Back To Where You've Never Been (24th October 1968, Trident Studios, Feathers)
I remembered that an excerpt of approximately one minute was played in a recent documentary and I believe it is Hutch on vocals and not Tony Hill. It's a shame they put a statement over the song and you can't hear the chorus properly.

"Interesting that "Lucy Can't Dance" is a demo from 1988."
I'm 99.9% certain there was some article where Nile Rodgers said he wanted it to be the lead song for that record.
And tried to rope Iman into him trying a different approach.

Where is Pug Nosed Face (aka Little Fat Man) ?
And why hasn't it been a single yet ??

I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring.

I'm not a prophet or a stone aged man, just a mortal with potential of a superman. I'm living on.
